The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 21 Jersey City residents during a warrant sweep across Hudson County on Saturday. Led by Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, the arrests were part of the HCSO’s “Operation Fall Sweep.”

Taking these alleged criminals off of our streets ensures the safety of all of Hudson County’s residents and visitors, improving the quality of life in our communities,” said Sheriff Schillari. “Each arrest brings us closer to accomplishing our goal of promoting safety in all of Hudson County’s municipalities. I am incredibly proud of my officers and the work they do in protecting the people of Hudson County.”

Said a spokesperson for the Sheriff, “These were a mixture of both bench warrants and un-apprehended complaints on fresh charges. All were issued by the Superior Court, though where a defendant was found to also have outstanding municipal court warrants, those warrants were also executed.”
